OOC: BANDWAGON JUMP! The adults edition.

chosehumanityAnd now time for my adults. Yeah, I'm lazy enough to have done these in two batches (but not lazy enough to copy-pasta, which means I'm some kind of glutton for talking about my characters. I know, contain shock, and so on).

* Is 6'7'' going on 6'8'' of pure muscle and steel. Might hence be a little intimidating.
* His entire left half is made of organic metal, barring his head (which also has its fair share of organic metal rattling on inside, just not on the outside). He has super-strength on this side. His left eye also has the ability to flash with its own internal light; possibly because of the metal (which is called, in typical Marvel fashion, 'techno-organic mesh', but c'est la vie).
* Has three scars on his right eye. The originals were caused by his T-O; since, he's moved into a clone body, where he promptly got them back courtesy of Typhoid Mary.
* A very disciplined telepath/telekinetic. His powers were absent for a long time in Fandom, until the techno-organics woke up and began to fix damaged systems. They've been growing back steadily ever since, but using them to their full extent would allow the T-O mesh to start digging its claws into the rest of his body again. Ergo, bad.
* ... at full power, can take apart entire war fleets at the molecular level and put them together again, as well as read the minds of every living being on the planet simultaneously. Yeah. Of course, going that far means he has a massively shorter lifespan, so we're lucky he's not there anymore.
* Otherwise possesses the mutant power of shooting guns, looming, and having a very tricksy mind indeed.
* Is not a Nice Guy. Maybe a Good Guy, in a very Machiavellian kind of way, but won't hesitate to Do Whatever Is Necessary for the cause.
* Is the Mayor of Fandom, and the owner of Wellspring Arms, Fandom's own hybrid arms store/meditation center.
* Is the son of a clone ofihavenocodename. Shhhhh. Don't tell anyone.
* Is currently raising a mutant baby girl he stole along withmouthy_merc. One day, she'll be the saviour of the mutant race. At least, that's what Cable's set on. That, and raising her in a no-pressure environment where she can make her own choices.
* His full name is Nathan Christopher Charles Dayspring Askani'son Summers. Now say that ten times fast.
* Has been here for a whopping three years. This scares me.
John Mitchell, the Vampire
* Is a little over a hundred years old; he was turned during the First World War, while he was in his twenties.
* Is Irish and has the accent to prove it.
* Usually just goes by Mitchell.
* Teaches film and television up at the school, usually in thematic areas that he's most invested in, such as war and the supernatural.
* Isn't fond of being a vampire as such; he's been 'on the wagon' - Being Human slang for refusing to chow down on humans - for months now (after the pangs of conscience started to set in around the 1960s). Unfortunately for him, Being Human vampires can't drink fake or packaged blood, so he's looking pale and occasionally shaky like a man who's just quit smoking.
* Strangely enough, has been smoking a lot these past few months.
* Tends to wear long fingerless gloves to decrease the chance people will figure out what he is.
* Does not combust in the sunlight, but it is hell on his eyes, so when outside he's usually wearing sunglasses. Doesn't reflect in silver-lined surfaces or turn up on camera, can die from being staked, has extra strength/speed, and his eyes go black when the bloodlust kicks in and he's ready to feed.
* Used to be the biggest, baddest vampire in all of the UK, if not one of the biggest, baddest on the whole planet; people still tell stories about him. He'd rather they don't.
* Originally came here with his best friend, the werewolf George, in order to keep George safe by enrolling him in school. After an influx of vampires on the island, though, he's chosen to send George off to live on the mainland taking internet courses. It's safer that way.
* Is a pretty calm, easy-going guy who just happens to spend every day and every night fighting off the need to give in to his addiction to eating people.
