Office #26, Monday Morning
May. 11th, 2009 12:27 pmHis office was well out of the way of any windows. That was a good think; while Mitchell didn't burst apart in the sunlight, it was still an irritation, and the hospital had been easier if simply because you couldn't find a window there for miles.
Still, a windowless office was better than nothing. It was a good thing. And starting this Friday, he'd be teaching actual kids -- someone had looked at his resume and considered him capable of the job. With a wry, but happy, smile, he walked into his office and half-shut the door, just enough to look invitable.
After all, he was here to invite the world in.
He dropped his sunglasses off on his desk and flopped down in his chair, twisting it from side to side to get a good view of the place. A little empty, but, thankfully?
Not enough to warrant a trip to IKEA.
